More Creepy Crawlies!

Posted by gowtsblog on June 12, 2008

Hello,

Today, Tuesday 20th May, a lady called Alex visited our school; she came from the Creepy Crawly Road show. She brought many different animals, animals that she keeps as pets. They were unusual pets though. These are the animals she brought: a Cockroach, a Giant East African Millipede, a Giant African Land Snail, a Chilean Rose Tarantula and a Royal Python Snake. We all got the chance to hold the Snake if we wanted to and a variety of us chosen got to hold any of the others.

It was a great experience and we learnt lots from the information Alex told us. We are very grateful and I can’t believe I got the chance to hold the Chilean Rose Tarantula, Rosie, I conquered my fear! Now I can hold any spider I want… I think!
