The Human Skeleton
Posted by gowtsblog on September 10, 2008
Today in Science, Year have been learning about the human skeleton.
We looked at a skeleton to find out what body parts, and which bones we already knew.
Then we tried to name the bones on a skeleton on the Interactive Whiteboard.
Next we all went outside and Mr Watson draw a person on the wall in chalk. (Some of us weren’t sure if he would get into trouble for doing it!)
Here is the picture that he drew:
Infact the picture slowly became Mr Watson! (He said he didn’t mean it to!
He then wrote the names of some bones and we had to draw in arrows to the right places on the body.
It was fun and we are now able to remember the names of some of the important bones in the Human Body.
For more practice try this game: Skeleton Shakedown
Mr Watson’s thought: I wonder if different animals have the same bones as people?
Maybe this might help: Skeletons: Human vs Frog
What do you think?
